Jennifer Tomazic Biography
Jennifer Tomazic is an American journalist working for WPXI as a reporter. She joined the station in May 2013 and has served the station for more than a decade. Previously, she worked for CBS 58/WDJT as a morning and noon anchor as well as a reporter.

Tomazic attended the E. W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University in 2000 after completing her high school education. When she finished her studies in 2004, she became a graduate and attained a Bachelor’s degree. While there, she wore numerous hats at WOUB, the campus TV station.

Tomazic works for WPXI as a reporter. She joined the station in May 2013 and has served the station for more than a decade. Previously, she worked for CBS 58/WDJT as a morning and noon anchor as well as a reporter. She found her love for storytelling while she was in high school.
Her initial professional job was when she worked in Parkersburg, West Virginia at WTAP as a morning and noon anchor and producer. Next, she went to work in Columbia, South Carolina at WLTX as a weekend anchor and Crime Stoppers reporter.
After her time there, she went to work at WDJT in Milwaukee. While there, she worked her way up from weekend reporter to morning/noon anchor. Also, she served as a reporter for a segment dubbed “Making Milwaukee Great.” In the segment, she profiled people and organizations that did positive things.
She worked as a volunteer at the Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center. Further, she served as a coach for Girls on the Run. She hopes to find the same organizations in Pittsburgh. Tomazic has received a nomination for a Southeast Regional Emmy for her anchoring.
For breaking news and feature storytelling, she received a nomination for Wisconsin Broadcasters Association honors. During her free time, she enjoys skiing and running. She hopes to test out the slopes in Western Pa.
