Jere Gish is a well-known American Journalist working for WGAL TV as an Evening News Anchor/Reporter. He joined WGAL TV in 2002. As the evening news anchor, he co-anchors the WGAL News 8 at 6 pm, 10, pm, and 11 pm newscasts. In addition, he has worked on other several broadcasting stations.

Murrow award for “Troubled Waters” a series of reports on the cleanup effort of the Chesapeake Bay. Also, he has won several Emmy Awards for reporting and anchoring, including an Emmy for “Open Business”, a series of reports in which he followed three Susquehanna Valley entrepreneurs as they opened new businesses in the middle of a slow economy.
