Jesse Hawila is an American meteorologist who is working at WFAA in Dallas, Texas. He specializes in weather forecasting, and reporting for television and digital outlets at the station.

Texas is his native home and since he was five years old, he was always obsessed with the weather and the impacts it has on our day-to-day lives. He is an American Meteorological Society Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) which is the most recognized certification offered to broadcast meteorologists.

Over the years, he has covered destructive winds, extremely large hail, tornadoes, and blizzard conditions. He has also worked in Lafayette, Indiana, Kansas City, and Fort Wayne, Indiana. While working in those cities, he has covered snowstorms, ice storms, and tornadoes.

In addition, Hawila loves all music as long as it was written honestly and with a purpose. He is also a drummer and a big fan of local music. Jesse enjoys stand-up comedy Bo Burnham is his favorite and video games. Hawila attended college at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where he proudly graduated with a degree in Meteorology. During his leisure time, he enjoys drinking about a pot of coffee a day, hiking, biking, and fishing.
