During her time on active duty, Keisling also worked as the lead command news anchor. Moreover, she has spent 5 years working in public affairs and the journalism field at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. She also received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for her work in the field.

She was the first IFBB Bikini Professional Athlete, earning her Pro card in the fitness industry and competing at NPC Nationals in 2009 in Miami, Florida.
