Her interest in news began when her middle school teacher sent an article of hers to the Detroit Free Press to be published. The Detroit, Michigan native is a proud graduate of Michigan State University where she obtained a Degree in Journalism. She also did internships at 93.9 The River and Citadel Broadcasting.

After her graduation, she happened to spend some time in Los Angeles where she found a job planning red-carpet events for clients such as Dancing with the Dexter, Ray Donovan, and the Stars. Later on, she made her way into the newsroom at WLUC in Escanaba, Michigan where she was working as a Bureau Reporter.

After making a decision that she would like to transition into a morning program, she discovered a spot at NTV where she joined the station working as a reporter/multimedia journalist. Later on, she states she found it a perfect fit. At the moment, she enjoys covering local events and highlighting the amazing people within the community.
