Jobin Panicker is an Indian-American Emmy award-winning reporter who is working at WFAA. He joined the WFAA team on December 8, 2012, after previously working at KSEE-24, in Fresno, California.
In 2020, he earned thirteen Emmy awards. He was a national finalist for Reporter of the Year by the National Press Photographer’s Association in 2019. In addition, he is also a four-time Regional Edward R. Murrow Award winner and won AP Awards for his stories. Furthermore, the Society of Professional Journalists has presented him with two awards for Outstanding Features and Culture and Arts. New York is his birth home but he was brought up in California.
