Jon Paepcke is an American journalist working for WVTM 13 as an investigative reporter. He joined the station in November 2002 and has served the station for more than 2 decades. Previously, he worked for WRBL as a news reporter for more than 5 years.

In April 2011, he contributed to the station’s tornadoes broadcasts. During his career, he has received many television news awards. For instance, he received the Alabama Broadcaster’s Association award for Best Reporter.
Also, he has Associated Press Awards which he has attained for Best Spot News Coverage and Best Investigative Report. Hailing from Columbus, he worked at the CBS affiliate there, WRBL as a reporter for more than 5 years.
A Crimson Tide fan, he cheers on Bama no matter who they play. He loves spending time with his wife, son, and daughter. Moreover, he serves as an active member of Hunter Street Baptist Church and serves as a coach of youth soccer. He’s always on the lookout for another outdoor project to handle.
