Jon Small is an American journalist working for WABI 5 as an anchor at 6 and the news director. He joined the station in 1997 and has served the station for more than 2 decades. Upon joining the station, he worked as a co-anchor of the TV5 Morning News.

His broadcasting career when he was at the age of 16. At the time, he worked in radio at WRKD in Rockland. After graduating college, he served radio stations in Rockland, Gardiner, Waterville, and Augusta before roining WABI radio in 1993. In 1997, he changed to TV at WABI 5 and in 2004 he took on the role of assistant news director. In 2020, he started working for the station as a news director. He is a lifelong fan of the Miami Dolphins and carries cards of the Red Sox Nation.
