Jonah Javad Biography

Jonah Javad is an American five-time Emmy award-winning sports anchor and reporter who is working at WFAA. In addition, he joined the WFAA team in March 2018. 

Jonah Javad Career

Previously, he worked at WGRZ-TV in Buffalo, New York where he served as a sports anchor and reporter for almost six years. For his sports reporting, he has received three New York Emmy Awards and three Edward R. Murrow Awards.

Newton, Massachusetts is his native home. In May 2009, he interned at NBC Sports Boston, and later on, Jonah worked at ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut where he served as a production assistant intern. In addition, he has worked as a sports broadcaster at Mediacom Communications. Furthermore, Javad has worked at KOMU 8 in Columbia, Missouri where he served as a sports anchor and reporter for two years. He joined the University of Missouri-Columbia where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Journalism in 2012.
