Jonathan Weaver Biography

Jonathan Weaver is an American meteorologist working for WEVV as a weekday evening meteorologist since joining the station in February 2024. Since May 2015, he has been a real estate broker at F.C. Tucker Emge REALTORS.

Jonathan Weaver Education

Weaver joined Penn State University in 1993 after finishing his high school education. In 1997, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. While in college, he was a cross-country and track athlete.

After graduating from college, Weaver was a meteorologist at WWCP/WATM and WBOY-TV. He also spent 5 years at WEHT-TV in Evansville, Indiana. He later began working as a licensed realtor at ERA First Advantage Realty, where he was a broker associate.

Weaver spent 4 years as a county assessor at Vanderburgh County. He then returned to ERA First Advantage Realty before spending 12 years as an Evansville City Council Member at Large in the City of Evansville.

Away from the station, Weaver is still heavily involved. If he’s not selling homes, he is coaching Jonathan, Jr.’s soccer, basketball, and baseball teams. He also travels statewide for Benjamin’s swim meets as a member of GREAT. He works on the Land Bank, who help sell blighted homes for rehabilitation or helps demolish blighted properties and encourages building new homes.
