Jordan Williams is an American Anchor/Producer working with KBMT 12 News where he serves the station as an Evening News Anchor/Executive Producer. He has been working with the station since January 2020.

In 2003, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in both communication and music from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Williams has also anchored and reported on South Texas’ Rio Grande Valley, Oklahoma City, and Midland.

Williams works with KBMT 12 News where he serves the station as an Evening Anchor/Executive Producer. There, he anchors the He joins the station with over 20 years worth of experience reporting, producing, and anchoring the newsdesk. Williams’s career has taken him from border to border, Brownsville to Buffalo. There, he covered everything from immigration to environmental contamination.
Jordan also returned home to Southeast Texas in the year 2018 after more than five years of anchoring and reporting at WIVB-TV in Buffalo. Asides from this he has anchored and reported in the Rio Grande Valley, Midland, and Oklahoma City. He is a proud graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in both communication and music in the year 2003.
He is a proud recipient of eight regional Emmys, which include three consecutive Lone Star Emmys for his work at 12 News at 10. Asides from this, he has covered stories from fires to floods and has helped in leading the 12News team through coverage. He has also earned three regional Edward R. Murrow Awards and twelve first-place awards from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters.
The year 2012 saw him being honored by the Society of Professional Journalists with the Sigma Delta Chi Award for an investigation into problems with a guardrail contractor in South Texas. Asides from this, he has received honors for his role as a host. Among the honors is one she received from the Press Club Southeast Texas, which includes the best anchor, best investigative report, and best newscast.
Williams, who is a native of Port Neches, loves telling stories and tracking severe weather. Jordan also serves as organist and director of music at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Beaumont and volunteers as a delivery driver for Nutrition and Services for Seniors (Meals on Wheels). You can watch Jordan weeknights on 12News at 5, 6, and 10 p.m.
