Karen Scullin is an American anchor, reporter, and writer working for FOX 9/KSMP-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She joined the station in August 2005 and serves as an anchor, reporter, and writer.

Scullin reports three days per week. Prior to joining the FOX 9 News team, she worked for KYW CBS 3 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During her working time there, she served the station as a reporter and anchor for two years.
Her journalism started in a TV barn in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She lived in Minnesota for 14 years before taking the long road to get here. Scullin also worked in Greenville, Mississippi, Evansville, Indiana, and Salt Lake City, Utah. While in Salt Lake City, she worked for KSL 5 Eyewitness News, she served as an Investigative Reporter and when she was in Evansville, Indiana, she served as an anchor and reporter for three years and five months.
Throughout her career, she has covered crime stories, the return of Elizabeth Smart, and the kidnapping. She also witnessed an execution by lethal injection. To date, she still recalls the day when 10-year-old Barway Collins of Crystal, Minnesota disappeared only to be found tragically murdered.
During her leisure time, she likes covering stories that bring important issues to light and that give people of voice in their communities. She believes that there are so many terrific groups and individuals that are working every single day to make a positive impact no matter how challenging the circumstances and they need to be served. Throughout her career, she enjoyed covering the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic games and getting the chance to meet people and athletes from all over the world.
