Karen Zatkulak is an American journalist working for WLOS as an investigative reporter at News 13 and host of the AnchorMOMS podcast. She joined the station in December 2016 after reporting and anchoring for KTVB in Boise, Idaho for 5 years.

Zatkulak joined the University of South Carolina Honors College in 2001 when she finished her high school education. In 2005, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Zatkulak previously worked for KTVB in Boise, Idaho as an investigative reporter and anchor. There, she won the Idaho Press Club’s “Reporter of the Year” Award and several other honors for her investigative work. She also worked for WTVC in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
In Chattanooga, Zatkulak broadcasted the 2011 fatal tornadoes and reported on the developing gang problem all over the city. Her first job out of college was reporting and anchoring at WDNN in Dalton, Georgia. She is passionate about exposing issues that truly impact families and revealing truths that trigger changes in the community.
