Kathleen Jordan Biography
Kathleen Jordan is an American journalist working for WMTW as an afternoon and evening anchor since August 2023. She also co-anchors Maine’s Total Coverage at 4 p.m. alongside Meghan Torjussen and Maine Meteorologist Sarah Long. She joined the station in May 2017 as a weekend morning anchor and reporter.

Jordan joined Towson University outside of Baltimore in 2009 when she finished her high school education. In 2013, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a track in Journalism and New Media (Electronic Media & Film Minor).

Upon joining the station, she first worked as a weekend morning anchor and reporter. She was later promoted to weekday mornings starting at 4:30 a.m.
During her time at WMTW, Jordan has told numerous stories of people in Southern and Central Maine. For instance, she reported the killing of Corporal Eugene Cole, the Farmington explosion, and the demise of Berwick Fire Captain Joel Barnes. For days, she stayed in those communities to share stories about how each event affected them.
Jordan also works on numerous health-related stories that impact Mainers. Most of her stories concentrated on the insufficiency of accessing healthcare and treatment in rural parts of the state. Every month, she reports for Heart Health 8 as a member of WMTW’s collaboration with the American Heart Association. Before moving to Maine, Jordan worked in the North Texas, and Southern Oklahoma viewing region as a reporter. She was later promoted to evening anchor and worked there for three years.
