Katie Barlow is a well-known American reporter/correspondent/former lawyer/host working for FOX 5 DC in Washington, District of Columbia, U.S.A. She joined the station in June 2021. Also, she is a former lawyer at a large international law firm in Washington D.C. As a lawyer, she practiced white-collar defense and civil litigation with a focus on the Anti-Terrorism Act.
As a journalist, she has covered Capitol Hill with WTOP, including Justice Elena Kagan’s confirmation hearing as well as the Supreme Court with SCOTUSblog and NPR’s Nina Totenberg. Moreover, she hosts a political podcast called Words Matter. And also co-founded Circuit Breaker

Since June 2020, she has been a Social Media Editor for SCOTUSblog where she innovates and adapts SCOTUblog coverage to social media and creates engaging video and audio content. Moreover, she is Co-Editor and Founder of Circuit Breaker since June 2018. Circuit Breaker is a website devoted to news and analysis of everything that is going on at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
