Katie Garner is an American meteorologist working for News4JAX as a meteorologist on “The Morning Show” since joining the station in April 2023. Previously, she worked for FOX Weather in Orlando, Florida as a meteorologist and anchor.

Garner joined Meredith College in 2006 when she finished her studies at Sacred Heart Catholic School. In 2011, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies. She also holds a Certificate in Weather Forecasting from Penn State University.

Then, she served FOX8 WGHP in the Triad of North Carolina as a weather forecaster, and FOX Weather in New York and Orlando before relocating to Jacksonville. She has a passion for serious weather since she wants to help keep people. She especially thrives in tornadoes and hurricanes.
