Katie Waldman is an American government appointee who is best known for being the wife of the Senior Advisor to the President, Stephen Miller. Waldman has served as Press Secretary to the Vice President of the United States since October 1, 2019. She replaced Alyssa Farah as Pence’s new press secretary.

Previously, Katie worked as a spokeswoman for Senator Martha McSally and for the United States Department of Homeland Security during the tenure of Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen. In January 2015, she started working for U.S. Senator Steve Daines of Montana as press secretary. In November 2017, she began working as the deputy press secretary for the Department of Homeland Security staying in that job until February 2019.  From February 2019, she was Arizona Republican Senator Martha McSally’s communications director. She became Press Secretary to the Vice President of the United States on October 1, 2019.
