Her husband who died on March 2, 2020, was best known for being the creator and host of Inside the Actors Studio which debuted in 1994. James Lipton portrayed Dan Reid, the Lone Ranger’s nephew, on WXYZ Radio’s The Lone Ranger.  James Lipton wrote for several soap operas including The Edge of Night, Another World, Guiding Light, Return to Peyton Place, The Best of Everything, and Capitol.
