Kelly Koopmans is an American journalist working for KOMO4’s Weekday Morning Newscast as the co-anchor/reporter. She joined the station in 2012.

Due to her work, she managed to win several statewide awards and nominations. Koopmans began her journalism career at CNN’s American Morning in New York behind the scene. She, later on, went to work in Shanghai, China and volunteered in Hanoi, Vietnam for a whole year. Lastly, she is living in Seattle and enjoys every minute there.
