Bartley joined Monterey Peninsula College in August 2011 after finishing her education at North Monterey High School. She studied Broadcast Journalism there until May 2013, when she transferred to the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University. In the Summer of 2022, she began working as the evening news anchor for KVAL. She has spent the past five years in Western Oregon, broadcasting content on local government, political matters, and hot-button community problems like the homeless crisis.
Bartley is also passionate about the local non-profit sector. In this capacity, she has hosted numerous community fundraising events like Girls Night Out benefiting the Oregon Cancer Foundation and the Justin Herbert Golf Invitational benefiting Kid Sports.
