Kerry Kersh Biography

Kerry Kersh is an American interior designer and former Country Music artist who emerged winner of HGTV’s“Battle on the Beach” Home-Improvement Showdown. She and her husband David Kersh are also owners of the Kersh Design Company

Kerry Kersh Music career

Kersh started performing when she was 19 years old. She started off in a radio show where she met Don Light, and later on signed a publishing contract with Cal IV Entertainment. Her first song at Cal IV Entertainment was “Til Nothing Comes Between Us” which was a top-20 hit for John Michael Montgomery in 2002. In 2004, she signed with Lyric Street Records where she worked with producer Byron Gallimore.

Kersh released “Cowgirls”, a single which was also co-written by Angelo Petraglia, Ryan Tyler as well as Hillary Lindsey who are also country music artists. The song made it to the Billboard country charts and was at position 45. However, her own album was not released and she was dropped from the record label. Alongside other country music artists like Catherine Britt, Jamie O’Neal, Shelly Fairchild, Tift Merritt, and Jennifer Hanson, she posed in the March 2005 issue of FHM magazine

Before venturing into the world of interior design, she was previously a country music artist. Kersh and her husband David are also owners of Kersh Design Company where they provide interior designing services including a beautiful collection of home essentials. Kersch alongside her husband David are professional country music artists and interior designers who are both Texas natives.

She and her husband participated in the second season of Battle in the Beach which is aired on HGTV. Battle on the Beach premiered on June 6, 2022. Battle on the Beach involves three new teams of house renovators/ flippers who will compete against each other on weekly renovation challenges so as to impress the judges and be able to win a $50,000 cash prize.

Kersh also starred in the first season of the reality series The Bad Girls Club and was also able to make it through the whole season. However, she got into a fight with Ripsi Terzian, her fellow cast member, and her husband, then-boyfriend, David to offer Kerry her moral support. Ripsi and Kerry often argued because Ripsi always told her that David was never going to marry her. Two years later, David and Kerry got married in 2009.
