These events cemented her wish to create a difference and help people prepare for the weather for the rest of my life.
Growing up in the suburbs of St. Louis, Kobielusz spent a lot of time in mid-Missouri for multiple camps and competitions. However, she never saw herself attending MU until she visited and immediately fell in love with the beautiful campus and community. Her shy nature made her want to work behind the scenes instead of being a broadcast meteorologist. She got out of her comfort zone during her sophomore year, applying for an internship at KOMU 8.
