Kevin Coskren Biography

Kevin Coskren is an American journalist working as a senior meteorologist for AccuWeather TV. He was at WKBT TV in La Crosse, Wisconsin when he received the AMS Seal of Approval in 1999.

He attended and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then attended the University of Wisconsin and graduated with a Master of Science in Meteorology.

He was later promoted to Chief Meteorologist at KLKN after a short while. In May 2004, he covered an EF-4 tornado that nearly destroyed the hamlet of Hallam, Nebraska.

He received several honors and also made appearances on the Discovery Channel’s, “Storm Chasers.” In 2012, he joined WLNE in Providence, Rhode Island, as their Chief Meteorologist.
