Kevin Landers is an American journalist working for WBNS 10 News as a general assignment reporter. He joined the station in October 1999 and has served the station for over 20 years.

The Beaverton native launched his TV career in Zanesville, where he served WHIZ as a weekend sports anchor, news reporter, and part-time weather anchor. He then moved to Eureka, California, where he joined TV news full-time after discarding his thoughts of being a sportscaster.

Following his time in California, Landers joined KBCI in Boise, Idaho, as a weekend anchor and producer. He spent two years there before relocating to KHBS in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He didn’t know at the time that the governor would eventually become the president of the U.S. He later returned to California as a reporter for the CBS affiliate, KCOY. Next, he moved south to Fresno, where he was a reporter for KJEO-TV.

After his time in California, Landers headed back to Ohio as a reporter at WXIX-TV, the first FOX affiliate in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role led to his employment at WBNS 10TV News, where he has been since October 1999. During his career, he has received several awards, including 6 Emmys, 2 Edward R. Murrow Awards, and the AP Best Reporter Award in 2014, 2015, and 2017. In 2016, he received the AP Best Spot News Award. He also won an AP Award for Best Broadcast Writing in 2015 and Best Feature Reporting in 2010.
