Lemanowicz started his career as a meteorologist at WVIT-TV in Hartford, CT. He later got a job as a staff meteorologist at Fleetweather, Inc, where he tracked storms for radio, schools, private industry, and the Weather Channel.
Kevin has also worked at the New England Weather Service in Hartford, providing forecasts for private industry and radio stations. After a while, he got a great opportunity in Hartford, CT where he served as the Chief meteorologist before finally becoming part of the Boston 25 team in 1996.

He keeps the viewers updated on the changing weather beyond Boston 25 News’ on-air and digital platforms. Kevin has extensively done stories related to weather and science, like a winter night atop Mount Washington and tagging sharks off of Cape Cod.
Kevin is also a Silver Circle Honoree, a special recognition from the Boston/New England chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences honoring veteran television professionals who’ve made significant contributions to their community and in their field of expertise.
He is an active member of society and has visited hundreds of schools educating students and teachers on how weather works both locally and globally. He shares his love for meteorology and science expertise with various groups including the Massachusetts Middle School Scholars, Weston Observatory Lecture Series, and the annual STEM Day at Fenway Park. Kelvin also works as the emcee for the annual Cox Conserves Heroes Awards. He is a strong supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Random Smile Project, and The Salvation Army of MA.
