Kimber Collins is an American journalist working for WKRG as a digital journalist and the Okaloosa County Bureau Reporter since 2021 under contract. She joined the station in April 2020 as a special projects producer and reporter.
Kimber Collins Education
Collins attended Angelo State University in West Texas in 2013 after completing her high school education. When she finished her studies in 2017, she became a graduate and attained a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Mass Media Communications. During her time there, she worked as a member of Rambelle’s Soccer team from 2013 to 2015.

She has reported on every topic including underwater memorials and breaking news in Okaloosa County. Since 2022, she has been seen bringing her fun personality to ‘The 4 on 5’ where she discusses trending stories Gulf Coast residents find interesting daily.
Before WKRG News 5, she served as a reporter live on WKRG.com and the WKRG social media pages at community happenings and breaking news scenes. In 2019, she launched A Turtles Journey blog on WKRG.com where she documents her work as a Share the Beach volunteer.
A certified scuba diver, she volunteers with the Divers Down Pollution Project in Destin, Florida. They work to clear the area waters of plastics and trash. In her free time, she’s outside enjoying the Gulf Coast and its stunning beaches. She loves to shop at local stores, swim, kayak, and listen to live music.
