Harington joined the charity production of Danny Boyle’s The Children’s Monologues opposite Nicole Kidman, James McAvoy, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Christopher Eccleston in 2015. The play happened at the Royal Court Theatre in London on October 25th with the proceeds being given to Boyle’s Dramatic Need, a creative arts charity that assists at-risk children in South Africa and Rwanda to create hope and self-belief during conflicts, trauma, and hardship.

Harington has worked as the ambassador for The Royal Mencap Society since April 2016. The organization helps people with learning difficulties and supports their families and caregivers.
