Kourtney Williams is an American Emmy award-winning reporter and anchor working for Fox 44 as a morning anchor from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. a position she took up in March 2021. She joined Fox 44 in March 2019, as a morning reporter.  

Baton Rouge is her native home and in 2007, she joined McKinley Senior High School where she graduated in 2011 with a diploma. Later on, she studied at Southeastern Louisiana University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in communication in December 2016. Prior to returning to her native home, she worked for The Delta News in Greenville, Mississippi as a multimedia journalist and morning show anchor for two years.

In addition, while she was in the Southeast, she worked on the Emmy award-winning college news program known as Northshore News as an anchor and reporter. In addition, she interned at WDSU in New Orleans and at WBRZ in Baton Rouge. Furthermore, she gained interest in journalism after being curious about going on in the world. During her downtime, she enjoys writing, hanging out with friends and family, and playing video games.
