Kyle Mounce is an American meteorologist working for WRTV as a meteorologist since joining the station in May 2013. This is his second tenure with the station since he worked for the station in 2003 as a volunteer for Call6 and as a weather intern.

Mounce studied meteorology at Mississippi State University where he received his Meteorology degree. Also, he has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Indiana University.

In 2005, Mounce started delivering forecasts to the Quad Cities of Illinois and Iowa. He worked there for 2 days before relocating to Paducah, Kentucky where he served WPSD. He served WPSD for over five years and broadcasted an ice storm, historic flooding, and everything in between.
Mounce is familiar with the intensity of the weather since he grew up in Avon. His fascination for the weather grew with its constant change and its effect on our daily lives. He has seals of approval from both the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society.
