Laura Hettiger is an American anchor working for KMOV-TV as a traffic anchor and co-hosts Great Day St. Louise. Before joining the station in July 2012, she worked as a multimedia journalist at WCBD-TV 2 in Charleston.

Hettiger serves as a traffic anchor and co-hosts Great Day St. Louise from 9 to 10 on KMOV-TV in Greater St. Louis. She joined the station in July 2012 working as a reporter and then traffic anchor. In 2015, Laura was awarded the first Emmy Award for her coverage during the Ferguson unrest. Previously, she spent one year and four months working as a multimedia journalist at WCBD-TV 2 in Charleston. While there, Laura was in charge of anchoring sports segments, writing daily stories, and supervising social media accounts.
Before working at WCBD-TV 2, Hettiger worked in Champaign as a broadcast intern at WICD TV from August 2008 to August 2010. She also covered sports events and edited videos for the Friday Night Blitz sports show. Laura began her broadcasting career at Big Ten Network serving as an intern from August 2007 to February 2009.
Earlier, Hettiger spent four months serving as a freelance writer and editorial intern at American Cheerleader Magazine. During her time there, she wrote articles and conducted interviews with cheerleading coaches and athletes. Besides this, Laura also worked for US Weekly Magazine as an editorial intern. There, she worked together with senior writers, transcribed interviews, and interviewed tourists and celebrities.
Aside from working as a journalist, Laura was a choreographer and co-owner of Cheer Unlimited. She served the company for three years from May 2008 to April 2011. In addition, she is also involved with The Little Bit Foundation and the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery where she serves on a Board of Directors. In 2018, she took part in the marathon where they raised over 5K for The Little Bit Foundation.
