Lauren Conrad (birth name Lauren Katherine Conrad) is an American television personality, author and fashion designer born on 1st February 1986 in Laguna Beach, California, U.S.
She is best popularly known as the star of MTV’s hits ‘Laguna Beach’ and ‘The Hills’. She is the founder of LC Lauren Conrad, a fashion line, and a co-founder of The Little Market, a fair trade online store.
Lauren Conrad attended Laguna Beach High School for her high school education and later joined Academy of Art University for one semester transferring to Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles.

Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County
While studying at Laguna Beach High School, in 2004, Lauren starred on MTV reality television series, Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, alongside her classmates Lo Bosworth, Kristin Cavallari, and Stephen Colletti. The show documented their lives in high school. Conrad was featured on an episode of MTV Cribs after the conclusion of the first season.She left the series after the second season. She later made a guest appearance in 2006 after her sister, Breanna, became a primary cast member.
Lauren Conrad The Hills
While studying at Academy of Art University in San Francisco she met Heidi Montag with whom she featured with on ‘The Hills’ in 2006. The show chronicled the lives of Conrad, her housemate Montag, and their friends Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port.
During the first season Conrad and Port held internships with Teen Vogue under the direction of West Coast Vogue editor Lisa Love. During the second season Conrad friendship with Heidi Montag deteriorated after Montag began dating Spencer Pratt. Conrad became room mates with Patridge and Lo Bosworth after Montag moved in with Pritt.
During the third season Conrad and Montag ended their friendship after she suspected Montag and Pratt were responsible for rumors of a sex tape involving herself and her Jason Wahler, a former boyfriend.
Conrad briefly dated Brody Jenner, fellow cast mate, about their relationship she said they had been subject to “editing to drag it out” during the series.
In January 2007 Conrad was announced as the inaugural spokeswoman of Avon Products’s “mark.” line. She later appeared in the comedy film ‘Epic Movie’ a satirical version of herself.
In 2008 Conrad and Port began working at ‘People’s Revolution’, Kelly Cutrone’s PR firm. Conrad made a cameo in an episode of ‘Greek’ and did a voice over for a cartoon version of herself in an episode of Family Guy.
In May 2009 she made her final appearance on’ The Hills’ as she wanted to venture into other endeavors. She wanted to leave the show after the fourth season but was requested by the producers to do ten more episodes for the next season so as to close her story line.
In 2010 she made appearances on syndicated game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, playing for her charity “m.powerment by mark” and Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, and also served as a guest judge on the thirteenth cycle of ‘America’s Next Top Model’.
LC Lauren Conrad/ Clothing/ Khol’s
In March 2008 she launched her fashion line The Lauren Conrad Collection, in 2009 she ended the line after underwhelming sales figures to further familiarize herself with the industry.
In the fall of 2009 she collaborated with Kohl’s to launch her second fashion line LC Lauren Conrad. Her collection includes apparel, shoes, jewelry, accessories, sleepwear and bedding. In 2014 the line launched their Disney collaborations inspired by classics such as Cinderella, Minnie Mouse and Bambi and recently Alice in Wonderland. Her collection debuted on the runway in 2015 during the 2015 New York Fashion Week.
