Her Emmy-nominated broadcast of the life and death of rapper Nipsey Hussle serves as her most notable story. The story recounted his life which involved gangs, rapping, and his eventual philanthropy and entrepreneurship. She serves as a member of Sigma Gamma Rho, Sorority, Inc., and the National Association of Black Journalists.
When not working, she loves to rest, weightlift, watch movies, and explore neighborhoods in Philadelphia. A zealous figure bodybuilder, she works with the National Physique Committee (NPC).
