Lindsay Shively is an American journalist working for KSHB as a weekday morning anchor and reporter since joining the station in May 2009. Previously, she worked as a reporter and anchor at WIBW-TV (13 News), the CBS affiliate station in Topeka, Kansas.

Shively joined the University of Missouri-Columbia after finishing her high school education. She later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. While in Topeka, Shively gained extensive field experience chasing tornadoes across Kansas and broadcasting the 2008 presidential election cycle. Moreover, she produced and co-anchored a holiday crime special credited by the Topeka police department for a notable drop in property theft.
Shively’s career has taken her across the nation and the world. In 2014, she was deployed with Missouri National Guard soldiers to Afghanistan, where she told the story of the close of America’s longest war. She has covered everything, including high-profile court lawsuits, F-5 tornadoes, hurricanes, and March Madness. She also filed reports on a great KU Championship on the road.
Shively also sits on the boards of the Northland Symphony Orchestra and the Kappa Holiday Homes Tour. She always looks forward to Ice Cream Dreamery, the summer fundraiser she emcees for The Children’s Place.
