Lindsey Hall Biography

Lindsey Hall is an American journalist working as a sports director, anchor, and reporter. He is originally from Florence, Alabama, and attended the University of North Alabama.

He graduated in 1984. He is married to Julie and the couple has two children together, Anna Lindsy and Jackson. They also have a stepdaughter, Jordan.

After 31 years as the Sports Director at WTOK, Lindsey is now the News Anchor/Reporter at 5 PM and 6 PM. Additionally, he shoots and produces the weekly feature “County Road 11,” which airs on Good Morning Meridian on Fridays and airs on Thursdays at 6:00 and 10:00 p.m.

He continues to be involved with Football Friday despite his move to News. He serves as the long-term director of the Steve Hull Memorial Golf Classic, is heavily involved in the State Games of Mississippi, and is active in the community.

On Thursday and Friday mornings, he also hosts radio shows on Meridian’s Supertalk Mississippi 103.3. Along with fishing with Julie, he enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and cheering on his beloved Crimson Tide.

Lindsey was inducted into the Associated Press Broadcasters Hall of Fame for Mississippi and Louisiana in 2019 after receiving the Best Sportscaster of the Year Award from the Mississippi Associated Press Broadcasters on multiple occasions.
