The fact that they missed home and their loved ones made her appreciate the military more. Further, she flew with the Blue Angels and the Hurricane Hunters through the eye of a hurricane, sky-dived, and bungee jumped for stories. When not working, she loves home renovation, carpentry, and horseback riding.
