The following year, the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) granted her the prestigious Silver Circle Award, which honor journalist who have significantly contributed to the industry for 25 years or more. The Columbus High School CCNN Live student broadcast program gave her its Media Excellence Award for “Best Entertainment Reporter” in the same year.
