Strzepa works for NBC5 as a weekend anchor at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. on NBC5, and 10 p.m. on the Valley CW. Also, she works as a reporter. She joined the station in January 2015 as a news reporter. Her reporting career in 2015 when she worked out of NBC5’s Upper Valley bureau.
Later, she moved to the Plattsburgh bureau where she worked for a number of years. During ehr time there, she broadcasted the aftermath of the 2015 prison break at Clinton Correctional Facility among other hundreds of other stories that affected North Country viewers.
She reports out of NBC5’s main studio in South Burlington. While there, she broadcasted many stories that affected the lives of the people of Vermont. Among the stories that have impacted, the 2019 quintuple murder case of Steven Bourgoin stands out the most.
For an entire month, she was in the courtroom acquainting herself with the families of the five teenagers killed by Bourgoin; Mary Harris, Janie Chase Cozzi, Eli Brookens, Cyrus Zschau, and Liam Hale. Also, she has done multiple stories that affect the loss of the Mad River Valley community.
She has a poem about kindness, written by Harris, on her desk in the newsroom. Aside from the news, she loves to travel, sing, volunteer, explore the picturesque small towns across the region, and act as a ‘coffee connoisseur.’ Before NBC 5, she worked in multiple newsrooms.
She worked as an intern at WCVB in Boston, WPRI in Providence, and WGGB in Springfield. During her free time, she is at the gym, explores the outdoors with her dog, cheers on Boston sports teams, learns a new song on the piano, and tries to cook.
