Lori Burkholder is an eminent Emmy and AP Award-winning Journalist working for WGAL TV as an anchor/reporter. She joined the station in July 1989. There,m she is the co-anchor of News 8 at 6 pm and News 8 at 10 pm on weekdays. Over the course of three decades+, she has held many positions including Host of 12:30 Live and Anchor for WGAL News at Noon.

Her favorite stories are the ones that happen in our communities and affect people in their daily lives.
Because of her exemplarity in the journalism field, she has won several Emmy and AP awards and reports on a variety of issues. She has got to work on special projects such as the Olympic Games of 2006 and 2008. She reported from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, gave viewers an inside look at death row, reported from the aircraft of the 193rd Special Operations Wing, and went one on one with that other morning news team in New York, “The Today Show”. When she is not working, she likes spending her time speaking at many events, running, and renovating her 18th-century home.
