Lori Pinson is an American Meteorologist for Fox 2. She has worked all over as a meteorologist; in Philadelphia, DC, Cincinnati, Lancaster, and even in Detroit for the CBS program, First Forecast Mornings.

Pinson was the Chief Meteorologist in Baltimore when she won an Emmy and NWA Broadcaster of the Year for creating “Signed Weather”. She went back to school to learn ASL so that those who had hard of hearing and deaf viewers could understand her forecast in their language. It was one of the most rewarding things she has done on television!

She has both the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) and National Weather Association (NWA) seals of approval. She was appointed to serve as a seal evaluator for the NWA, upholding the guidelines set for potential seal candidates.

Pinson has over 5 years of post-graduate meteorology work, most recently studying at Johns Hopkins University for Environmental Science & Policy. In addition to the weather, she loves to write! She has been fortunate enough to receive many Society of Professional Journalist and Associated Press awards for writing and Best Weather!
