Luke Gamble Biography
Luke Gamble is an American journalist who has been working for KFYR as the sports director since joining the station in September 2024. Previously, he worked as a weekend sports anchor and multimedia sports journalist at WKOW ABC 27 in Madison, Wisconsin, for a year.
Luke Gamble Education
Gamble joined the University of Georgia’s Mary Frances Early College of Education in 2015 after finishing his high school education. In 2019, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.

He worked as a weekend sports anchor and reporter in the region for three years before moving to Madison, Wisconsin, where he was a weekend sports anchor and reporter for one and a half years. He spent his time in Madison broadcasting everything Badgers, Packers, Brewers, and Bucks.
Gamble received the 2022 Sportscaster of the Year Award from the National Sports Media Association of North Dakota. His broadcasts of North Dakota high school sports have won him an Eric Sevareid Award. He has also won several other nominations for his work.
