Macaulay Culkin is an American actor and musician who rose to fame as a child actor when he appeared as Kevin McCallister in the first Home Alone film series in 1990 and 1992. In the 90s, he was among the most successful child actors.

Culkin studied at St. Joseph’s School of Yorkville for five years before transferring to the Professional Children’s School. In April 2011, Adam Green featured him in his experimental film, The Wrong Ferarri. That same month, he was featured in the music video for “Stamp Your Name on It” by Jack Dishel/Only Son, Green’s former bandmate. He made a YouTube video where he talked about turning his New York apartment into a painting workshop in September 2012.

In 2013, he co-founded the New York comedy rock band Pizza Underground where he served as the vocalist. A video of him imitating Andy Warhol went viral in December 2013. He used the video as an endorsement for his band. They began touring on January 24, 2014. In May of that year, he left the stage at Rock City while performing his kazoo solo. At the time, fans threw beer pints and booed them. Next, they canceled the unfinished UK shows. The band said that the Rock City performance incident played no factor in their decision. On July 10, 2016, Culkin declared that the band was separating and that their next album would be the last.
