Mackenzie LaPorte is an American News Anchor and Reporter working for KHQA-TV in Quincy as a weekend anchor. She joined the station in September 2022, after previously working as a social media designer at Deep Roots Chiropractic And Wellness Center in Chicago.

LaPorte attended Resurrection College Prep High School in August 2014 where she graduated in June 2018. She was also a member of several clubs such as Kiaros Leader, Celtic Club, and St.Patrick High School Dance Team Co-Captain. After high school, Mackenzie enrolled at the University of Kansas where she attained a minor in photography and a major in broadcast journalism in May 2022. While there, she worked for KU-TV where she served as an anchor and producer. She was also a member of the Jayhawk Photo Group and an Alumnus of Chi Omega Sorority.
LaPorte works as a weekend anchor for KHQA in Quincy, Illinois. She also serves as a reporter at FOX 55/27 in Champaign, Illinois. Mackenzie joined both stations in September 2022 where she has been working for more than a year.
Mackenzie began her career at Deep Roots Chiropractic And Wellness Center in Chicago where she served as a chiropractic receptionist. While there, she maintained a successful experience for every patient and cared for patients in a Chiropractic office. LaPorte served the role for one month from January 2020 to February 2020. Later on, she accepted a position as a social media designer at the same station from January 2021 to 2022. She also produced messages to send out to current customers and created new products.
