Madeline Hunt is an American journalist working for WTOC as an anchor of The News on weekdays at 3, 4:30, and 5:30 p.m. In addition, she serves the station as an investigative anchor and reporter. She joined the station in September 2023 after working for Sotheby’s International Realty as a luxury real estate advisor.

Hunt joined the University of California, Los Angeles in 2008 when she finished her high school education at Laguna Blanca School. In 2012, she graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Media Studies with a Spanish minor. Next, she joined Columbia University in New York City where she received her Master Of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism.

While in Reno, she won a nomination for an Emmy Award for her breaking news broadcast of an active shooter situation. Her broadcast career started in Yuma, Arizona.
During her career, she has broadcasted ruinous wildfires, the fatal Las Vegas mass shooting, the sweeping college admissions scandal, and Tom Brady’s departure from the Patriots. Hunt appreciates giving back to the community who previously served the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She actively works as a member of the Junior League of Savannah.
