Madison Hildebrand is an American media personality, author, and real estate broker who specializes in the luxury real estate market located in Malibu, California. Hildebrand co-starred in the Bravo television series Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, alongside Josh Flagg and Josh Altman.

In 2009, he released a book, titled Activate YOUR Passion, Create YOUR Career. In 2013, he launched a scented candle collection called The Malibu Life By Madison Hildebrand. Hildebrand is also a brand ambassador for the eSignature company, DocuSign, and produces a national seminar tour where Hildebrand coaches realtors across the country.

In an interview, Hildebrand said that as a child, his father moved constantly as the Vice-Chair of New York Life Insurance.  His family moved to five different states and seven cities, and although he was young Madison loved the house-hunting process. He was always front-row-center when it came to the negotiations, asking his father whether or not it was okay to sit next to him, as his mother was rather uncomfortable with the whole process.  Even now, Hildebrand’s father continues to move every two years, investing a lot into Real Estate.

In 2016, Hildebrand broke his jaw while he was in Arizona for his nephew’s birthday party, he said. “It was a pool party and I was sitting next to the diving board and my 14-year-old cousin went and jumped off and did a frog-leg jump and his knee clipped the back of my right jaw bone under my ear and did a clean fracture,” he recalled. “And I got [knocked] out, a concussion and, obviously, fractured my jaw.” Hildebrand had surgery, getting his mouth wired shut in the process. “It’s been one of the most challenging things I think I’ve personally emotionally had to endure,” he added.

After one month, he said that his mouth was inching way back to normal. He exclusively told The Daily Dish. “My mouth is free, which is exciting, but it’s still a healing process I was not prepared for,” he said. “I can’t really eat. My stomach has shrunk. My mouth, if I open it too wide, I get electrocuted. It is not exactly what I was expecting.”

He did not appear on the show in seasons 7 and 8. For Season 7, Flagg and Altman were joined by James Harris and David Parnes. Hildebrand returned full-time in seasons 9 and 10.

Hildebrand wants to step down from Bravo’s cameras once again and will not be returning for season 11. He confirmed the news in a statement to The Daily Dish. “After a decade of adventure and one of the most unique experiences of my life, I have decided not to continue Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity but the time has come for me to re-energize, rejuvenate, and refocus my attention and light onto new endeavors,” Hildebrand explained.

When he was asked why he chose this particular home to call his own, he said that it was a great space, and it was something that he could afford. He paid for the house $980,000 at the height of L.A.’s real estate market and has since invested $100,000 in the property.
