Prior to moving to the Valley, he worked for both ABC and CBS stations in Sacramento, California. Thompson is a Midwest native. Thompson’s job took him across the country, landing his first-morning anchor job after college down south at WRBL in Columbus, Georgia. Following that, he worked in Atlanta, Grand Rapids, Sacramento, and now Phoenix. This is Thompson’s first time in the desert.
