Marietta Sirleaf  “Retta” is an American Actress, Stand-up Comedian, Author, & TV Personality who is best known for starring in the NBC TV series “Parks and Recreation.” She portrayed Donna Meagle in the film. 

Sirleaf is also well-known for portraying Ruby Hill on NBC’s “Good Girls.” She has made appearances in a number of TV shows and films and has performed stand-up on Premium Blend of Comedy Central. Sirleaf is also a comedian. She started comedy while she was growing up, where she made everyone in her church laugh.

She went to compete in her 1st television comedy contest and members of the New Apostolic Church from all over the globe voted for her. Winning the contest made her pursue comedy as a career. Before comedy, Sirleaf worked in the pharmaceutical research field. She began her stand-up comedy career in the year 1996. She started earning with comedy when she began touring on the college circuit. She has been pursuing comedy since then.

She has served as the opening act for various comedians, including Bobby Collins and Shirley Hemphill. When coming to TV appearances, she has appeared on E! Entertainment TV’s The Soup, Moesha, Freddie, the “Comedy Divas Showcase” segment of The Jenny Jones Show, and other TV programs.

Sirleaf has also made appearances in the films Sex and Death 101, Slacker, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, Fracture, and First Sunday. In the year 2022, she served as a host of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd seasons of HGTV’s Ugliest House in America. Sirleaf signed a talent-holding deal with NBCUniversal in the same year (2022). In the years 2015 and 2014, Sirleaf presented awards at the NHL award ceremonies in Las Vegas. She is a true and loyal fan of the Los Angeles Kings hockey team.
