Torres was a reporter and anchor at KOB-TV, the NBC affiliate, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from 2011 to 2012. There, she broadcast multiple stories across the state. She reported for WCIA-TV, the CBS affiliate in Champaign, Illinois.
