Marty Ledbetter Biography
Marty Ledbetter is an American journalist working for WTHI as a weekend sports anchor and reporter since August 2019. Before that role, he served the station as a photographer. He joined the station in June 2014 as a multimedia journalist. Previously, he worked for WTWO/WAWV as a weekday nightside photographer for 2 years.

Ledbetter joined Indiana State University in 2007 when he finished his studies at Edgewood High School. In 2011, graduated with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Communications emphasizing Electronic Media. During college, he was the sports director and student manager at WISU 89.7 FM. Ledbetter broadcasted Men’s & Women’s Basketball, the Sycamores Football, Softball & Baseball teams, and the March 2011 ISU Men’s Basketball team in the NCAA Tournament.

While growing up, Ledbetter enjoyed watching News 10 and dreamt of working on-air at the station in the Wabash Valley. After graduating college, he joined WTWO as a master control operator in the summer of 2012. In the winter of 2014, he was promoted to news photographer. Ledbetter has always been passionate about sports.
