Marybruce Standley is the longtime partner of the late American former professional baseball player, Glenn Beckert. Glenn Beckert spent nine seasons with the Chicago Cubs from 1965 to 1973 before finishing his career with two seasons for the San Diego Padres. He led all of baseball with 98 runs scored and also won a Gold Glove in 1968. Glenn was selected as an All-Star for four straight seasons beginning in 1969.

Glenn more than held his own playing alongside future Hall of Famers and won a Gold Glove for defensive excellence at second base in 1968.”
