Matt Devitt Biography
Matt Devitt is a prominent American Chief Meteorologist at WINK-TV. He joined WINK-TV in February 2016. He heads the WINK weather department and mentors the team of meteorologists, along with interns in the country. Matt is a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. Moreover, he is an active member of society, especially with the American Cancer Society, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Multiple Sclerosis Centre of Southwest Florida.

Moreover, he produced graphics for weathercasts with WSI TruVu Max 5.5, and managed the WSAV 24-hr weather network and weather section on the station website, among other roles.
From March 2011 to March 2012, he worked in Rogers, Arkansas for KHBS/KHOG-TV as a Meteorologist. Matt began his career after graduating from the university at KTEN-TV in Denison, Texas, where he worked as a Meteorologist from June 2010 to March 2011. He knew he wanted to be a meteorologist at the age of seven. And says he is grateful he gets to do what he loves every day. Not only does he love the weather, but he loves dogs too. As a result, he created Southwest Florida’s favorite weather segment “Dog of the Day” which highlights viewers’ dogs on-air along with the weather forecast to help plan their day. When he is not working, he loves traveling, going to the beach, keeping in shape, and hanging out with family.
